Welcome!

On behalf of USTA Southern, it is a privilege to welcome you to the 2011 USTA Southern Jr. Team Tennis Section Championships. Each year, Southern crowns a champions in each age division and level.

This year we are adding 10U teams as a part of the USTA's national program -- 10 and Under Tennis. Our goal is to get more young kids playing tennis and having fun doing it. We'll be playing 10U on 60' courts with the orange ball, just like in their local league play.

The Southern Championships serves as the premier event for USTA Jr. Team Tennis. The event demonstrates the best elements of tennis: spirited competition, friendship, achievement, sportsmanship and fun. Hopefully, this will be a great experience for all.

Without the support, commitment and enthusiasm of all nine State Coordinators, these Championships would not be possible. Special thanks go to the people who work behind the scenes to make this a memorable event for the players: tournament staff, facility staff, sponsors, volunteers and of course the dedicated family members and friends, offering support and encouragement to the teams.
