WHAT

USTA Jr. Team Tennis Champion teams from the nine states in the Southern Section will be invited to compete in the 2011 USTA Southern Jr. Team Tennis Section Championships to be held August 19-21, 2011 in Mobile, Ala.

WHO

The Section Championships will host a maximum of one (1) team per state in the following divisions: 10U, 12U, 14U and 18U - Intermediate and Advanced Divisions. In addition to the nine State Teams, a wildcard will be drawn for each division.

Levels of Play

10U Intermediate (3.0 & Below) and Advanced (3.5 & Above)
12U Intermediate (3.0 & Below) and Advanced (3.5 & Above)
12U Intermediate (3.0 & Below) and Advanced (3.5 & Above)
14U Intermediate (3.0 & Below) and Advanced (3.5 & Above)
18U Intermediate (3.0 & Below) Advanced (3.5 & Above)

Players with a Southern Standing of 1-300 in any age division, as of July 31 preceding the Championship Year, must play in the Advanced Division, even if playing up in a different age division.

Tournament Registration & Schedule

Coaches are required to turn in all forms (which includes combined release form) Friday, August 17, 2011, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Mobile Tennis Center.

PLAYER Amenities

Player T-shirts: All players attending the Section Championships will receive a player T-shirt which will be given to the coach for distribution.

PLAYER Refreshments

Refreshments will be served Friday Evening.
Lunches will be provided for Players and Coaches Saturday.
Breakfast snack provided on Sunday.
